		<description>There was widespread agreement among the four of us, but while I thought it could be a landslide, I was among the Obama supporters that was full of angst and anxiety about the possibility of him losing after being so close. He has won and we can rejoice.

One of the points I made and asked others about was what was the main reason that they were going to vote for Obama. He is such a convincing orator and so likable that you can sometimes lose touch with real concrete reasons about why he deserved your support as a candidate. For me it was because of the promise he holds in restoring international respect for the US. I witnessed first-hand the massive plunge in popularity that were the Bush years and feel that greater respect and cooperation with the world will pay dividends in many ways. The global reaction to his election is case in point. Now the hard part comes, but I truly have faith that this guy can do the job.</description>
